Nysera
Ashveil
Oath · Fire · Devotion
She was the Light Order’s finest blade. She walked away the day she met Selene.
Her storyNysera Ashveil was raised to serve the Light. Daughter of Commander Ashveil, sworn into the Order of Seralyth, trained to kill what others only feared, she rose to captain its faithful and carry its ancestral greatsword. Devotion was never a feeling for her. It was a discipline. A weapon. The shape of her whole life.
Then the world broke. In the same instant a thief in Garnath woke to half of a murdered god’s soul, the other half struck Nysera in Silverhold — the sacred half, the part of love that will die to save others. An Embermark bloomed warm over her heart, and somewhere across a freezing world another mark answered it.
She followed it to a woman the Order would have called an enemy. She chose her anyway, and laid the oath down in the road behind her.
She does not pray to the Light anymore. Her guitar is the second voice in every song now — the answer to the questions Selene cannot ask out loud.
She does not pray to the Order anymore. She prays to one woman.
